To keep the visa active, it must be renewed every six months or the system will block it. Unblocking the visa and renewing it will require compliance with re-authorization. Foreign nationals living in the UAE on a Residence Visa are allowed to bring their family members with them, however, there are certain requirements that must be met. These visas are dependent on the sponsor, so if the sponsor’s visa is revoked or expires, the Family Visas will also become invalid.

If you wish to live and work in Dubai, it is necessary to obtain a work visa. One of the advantages of having a work visa is the ability to enter and exit the country without any paperwork. Before acquiring a work visa, it is required to have a job offer or an employment contract. Generally, your employer is responsible for the visa application fees and sponsoring. Upon your arrival in the country, your employer will need to carry out medical tests, provide an Emirati ID card, a Labor Card, and other requirements such as having a work residence permit stamped on your passport within 60 days from the General Directorate of Residence and Foreigners Affairs in the emirate you will be working in (GDRFA). After this process is complete, you will have the eligibility to sponsor your family to the UAE.
